Heaven is big enough to accommodate everyone if the whole world decides to go there. On the other hand, hell has enlarged itself and opens its mouth without measure to house everybody who chooses to make it home. The will of God is for all to spend eternity in heaven with Him. However, the choice is yours to decide where you want to spend eternity.

God sent Jonah on an errand, but he rose up and fled from the presence of the Lord. In his attempt to run away from the presence of the Lord, he encountered the wrath of God. Although he knew that the Lord was angry with him, he delayed his repentance until he found himself in the belly of a fish. The Lord would have forgiven Jonah, if he repented in the ship. He would not have gone to spend three days in the belly of the fish.

At salvation, every believer is given the mind of Christ which should make him think and walk like Christ. However, the mind must be constantly renewed for the believer to exercise the mind of Christ. The believer must not be conformed to worldly standards. He must seek to always know the acceptable and perfect will of God through the transforming power of God's word and fervent prayers.

The joy derived from the pleasures of sin is transient, yet many are being deceived to go for it instead of the eternal joy that comes with righteousness. Moses made an unpopular choice, although he knew it would cost him the throne of Egypt. He counted the cost of accepting to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter: although it would guarantee temporal enjoyment, the door of heaven would be shut against him. What is persecution (suffering for Christ on earth) compared to eternal suffering in hell fire?

There are two highways: the broad way and the narrow way, each having specific destination. Travelling by the wrong highway will take you to the wrong destination. For example, the highway that goes from Bethel to Shechem will not lead travellers to Jerusalem - Judges 21:19. It is the narrow way or the highway of holiness that leads pilgrims to the dwelling place of the only true and holy God - 1 Peter 1:15-16; Hebrews 12:14.
