As the opportunity comes to help someone, use it without delay. See yourself as a conduit of the blessings of God. DO NOT hinder the flow. Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee - Proverbs 3:27-28. Do whatever you can to help that needy person now because a missed opportunity may never come again.

Although they were saved from the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, God warned them of the danger of being consumed if they looked back or remained in the plain. Failing to heed the warning of the Lord, Lot's wife looked back and was consumed: she turned into a pillar of salt.
