What does it mean to receive the kingdom of God? It means to receive and believe in the teachings from God's word about His kingdom. These teachings are found in the Bible and are meant to prepare the soul for heaven. However, it is only those that receive the word of God as little children that can make it into heaven. Unlike those that lived before him, he walked with God and made heaven at last.

If your goal in life is to acquire great things at the expense of your soul, you are of all men most miserable.
