Godly wisdom is better than strength and weapons of war. The great king that went against the little city in verse 14 of Ecclesiastes chapter 9, was defeated by the wisdom of a poor wise citizen of that besieged city. With godly wisdom you can defeat the enemy and accomplish great things for your community. They are wise that keep the word of the Lord; although their strength may be little, no man can shut the open door the Lord has set before them.

One of the reasons why we read, study and meditate on the word of God, is to arm ourselves for victory in the face of temptation. Every time Jesus was tempted either directly or indirectly by the devil, He overcame by speaking the written word. Learn to hide the Word of God in your heart, that you may have what to say in the hour of temptation. You must deliberately make out time to read and meditate on the word of God.

Small or big, every sin ends in destruction and death. The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The wages of sin is death. In His wisdom, the just and righteous God has determined to punish every sinner in hell fire, except they repent. The type of sin committed does not really matter; lying and murder will attract the same judgment - eternal destruction. Therefore, to escape the judgment of God, you must abstain from all appearance of evil.

Whatever God does not do remains undone. If God does not help you, nobody can help you. Your help can only come from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth. He alone can save the sinner, deliver the oppressed, restore the backslider, heal the sick, help the helpless, provide for the needy, and turn their situations around for the best.

Be sure that you are not hypocritical in your walk with God because the Lord will reject all religious pretenders in the end. Whereas we are not allowed to judge others, the Scripture commands us to judge ourselves. Judge not, that ye be not judged - Matthew 7:1. For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged - 1 Corinthians 11:31.
