The Reward Of Diligence

Nov 01 2017

Key Text: 2 Chronicles 15:7 KJV - Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.

The word of God cannot fail. Every one that does their work diligently and as unto the Lord is sure to receive a reward from Him. It is written: Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. And the thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but every one that is hasty only to want - Proverbs 22:29; 21:5.

Wherever you may be working or will ever work, let you heart and mind be involved. Whatever your hand finds to do; do it with all your might. Do all your work as unto the Lord and not as a manpleaser. Be diligent and the Lord who sees what you are doing unnoticed shall reward you openly.

There is no work beyond the grave, therefore be diligent to do whatsoever your hand finds to do. Be steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. However, whatever you are doing for the Lord will not be rewarded, if you have not known Him. Therefore, if you are not born again, without any further delay, please surrender your life to Jesus today.

Prayer: O Lord, strengthen my hands that I might be diligent in all that I do for your kingdom, even in the life of men, in Jesus name. Amen.

Reflection: The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute - Proverbs 12:24.
