When God saved Israel from Egyptian bondage and captivity, He hedged them in with a cover of protection. However, every time they rejected God and worshipped strange gods, the hedge was broken and their enemies pursued and overpowered them. And whenever they repented and returned to the Lord, he delivered them. That was a dangerous pattern which the believer should never imitate. You should never take the grace of God for granted.

Joseph, in Potiphar's house, refused to commit immorality with his master's wife. Daniel, in Babylon did not defile himself with the portion of the king's food and drink. The Hebrew children declared their stand and walked worthy of God, even in a foreign country. The unchanging standard of God's word demands that we live right always and everywhere.

Since most deaths happen suddenly and in a moment, be sure that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise - Ephesians 5:15. The ruling or verdict of that judgment will either be eternal life in heaven or eternal damnation in hell, depending on how the soul concerned lived on earth. Consider the following statement made by the Lord Jesus Christ - "And it came to pass, that the begger died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bossom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, ..." - Luke 16:22-23.

Small or big, every sin ends in destruction and death. The soul that sinneth, it shall die and the wages of sin is death. In His wisdom, the just and righteous God has determined to punish every sinner in hell fire, except they repent. The type of sin committed does not matter; anger and murder will attract the same judgment - eternal destruction in hell fire.
