Are you concerned like Peter, about what you will gain having left all to follow Jesus? For your information, your labour is not in vain in the Lord. The Lord has promised to reward you now, with a hundredfold of whatever you have given up serving Him, and to give you eternal life in the world to come. All you need to inherit these promised blessings is to remain faithful and committed as you serve the Lord Jesus Christ.

Unknown to Esther, God planted her in the King's palace for the deliverance of the Jews. And when the time came to play her role, the Lord used her Uncle, Mordecai to sound the alarm. The moment she realised her mission, Esther was determined to fulfil her ministry. She was not afraid to die, so she could boldly declare: if I perish, I perish. Failing to heed the warning of the Lord, Lot's wife looked back and was consumed: she turned into a pillar of salt.
