Eli was a priest of the Lord and he had two sons; Hophni and Phinehas who became vile because they were not trained. While the priest was busy serving the Lord and ministering to the people his children were left to themselves. He failed in his responsibility to train them up in the way of the Lord. He would not have gone to spend three days in the belly of the fish.

And as you know, both the young and the old die because death does not respect the law of averages. This world is not your home; you are here on a journey that will eventually come to an end.
