Men may forget you but God will surely remember you. He will send help and deliver you in due time. Joseph requested the chief butler to remember and mention him to Pharaoh but he forgot until God created the situation that announced Joseph before Pharaoh. Learn to put your trust in the Lord. Joseph did not need the help of man for his God-given dreams to be fulfilled. God will never share His glory with any man. You need God, not a god-father.

Sin deceives, therefore it is needful to remind ourselves daily about the warnings in the Scriptures and remain watchful. We cannot afford to be careless with our Christian life because many in the past and in contemporary times have been and are being deceived out of the straight narrow way. Be not deceived: the wages of sin is death and whatsoever a man sows that shall he also reap. A little sin has the power to damn your soul in hell.

Be warned and endeavour to live your life before the Lord rather than before men.

The great king that went against the little city in verse 14 of Ecclesiastes chapter 9, was defeated by the wisdom of a poor wise citizen of that besieged city. With godly wisdom you can defeat the enemy and accomplish great things for your community. They are wise that keep the word of the Lord; although their strength may be little, no man can shut the open door the Lord has set before them.

One of the reasons why we read, study and meditate on the word of God, is to arm ourselves for victory in the face of temptation. Every time Jesus was tempted either directly or indirectly by the devil, He overcame by speaking the written word. Learn to hide the Word of God in your heart, that you may have what to say in the hour of temptation. You must deliberately make out time to read and meditate on the word of God.
