King Hezekiah was sick unto death and he prayed for healing, but God sent Prophet Isaiah to advise him to prepare for death. The message from the Prophet did not stop his prayer. He prayed until God changed the verdict of the Court of heaven and added fifteen years to his life. Hannah's womb was shut by the Lord but when she persisted in prayer, God eventually answered her and gave her children. Do not stop praying until God undertakes for you.

LET GOD FIGHT FOR YOU

God fights for those who believe in Jesus, and have Him as their Lord and personal Saviour. Because God was with Joseph, when his brothers tried to kill his dreams, He turned their evil plot around to favour Joseph. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all – Psalm 34:19. Victory is guaranteed for those who are on the Lord's side. The battle line has been drawn and you must declare your position.

A MYSTERY UNRAVELLED

The mystery about the Rapture, unravelled by the Holy Spirit through Apostle Paul in our text was mentioned by the Lord Jesus Christ in John Chapter eleven, during an important conversation with Martha when He went to raise Lazarus from the dead. When Jesus spoke about the Rapture, neither Martha nor the disciples understood what He was talking about because it was still a mystery.

Hannah was a sorrowful woman for a long time and she complained about her unpleasant situation of barrenness. She was provoked by her adversary to make her worry and weep over her condition. Until she prevailed in the place of in prayer, she remained a sorrowful woman. When she prayed earnestly, the Lord changed her complaint to acclaim. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

Great multitudes followed Jesus as He preached the gospel of the kingdom and healed all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. Jesus, seeing the multitudes went up into a mountain, and it is interesting to note that only His disciples climbed up to meet Him there. The multitudes remained in the plains and in the valley. Are you a committed follower or just an ordinary follower?
