Many Christians are living like the people of the world without faith and without the hope of heaven. Only true believers will be raptured at the coming of the Lord. These are believers who constantly look or hope for the city whose builder and maker is God. Heaven is a place prepared by the LORD for only prepared people. Therefore nobody can make heaven without preparation.

Some things that you do may not be evil in themselves but can cause others to stumble. Therefore, for the sake of others who Christ died for, we must abstain from all appearance of evil. However, Peter did not loose his peace, knowing fully well that the executioner would be coming for him in the morning.

Light is stronger than darkness: no matter its thickness, darkness cannot comprehend the light of God in you. Let your moderation be known unto all men that the Lord brings your way.

The godly are those who continue to follow God after they have been saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Both the godly and the unjust are faced with suggestions to do evil and disobey God, at all times. Whereas, the ungodly are left to themselves, God helps the godly to choose to do good and obey Him. God knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations. He will never leave His own, neither will He forsake them.
