Beloved, are you in any trouble and worried about how things will turn out? Worry no more because you shall come out of that trouble, in the name of Jesus. And when you come out, it will be as though you were never in such trouble. Do you remember the three Hebrew children, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego? They all came out of the fire of King Nebuchadnezzar without being burnt. 

King Ahab with the help of his wife Jezebel killed Naboth that he may take possession of Naboth's vineyard. Because of this evil the Lord sent Prophet Elijah to Ahab, to pronounce judgment against his house. On hearing the message of the Lord as declared by the man of God, Ahab responded with humility which attracted the mercy of God. The penalty of Ahab's sin was delayed because of his humility. 

Wisdom is the judicious application of knowledge. The knowledge of the holy scriptures teaches us to fear God and depart from sin. And the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. From the word of God, we know that God is angry with the wicked every day, and godly wisdom instructs us to abstain from all appearance of evil that we may obtain His favour.

Religion is either pure or vain. Sadly though, the religious life of many people falls short of God's standard. They go to Church, some even officiate as ministers, yet their lives are full of cursing, swearing, lying, evil-speaking and selfishness. The word of God says such people are deceiving themselves with vain religion. The world is filthy, and you must avoid being stained by it. Evil communications corrupt good manners.

You can have what you say, therefore speak according to God's word and not according to your thoughts and feelings. Speak what you want to see and not the problems and challenges in your life, because God's word teaches that you can have what you say. Carnal, fleshly words are destructive, but the spiritual word of God is life-giving and profitable. Don't just believe God's word, speak it.
