HAVE FAITH IN GOD

Feb 17 2019

Key Text: Romans 4:20 KJV - He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.

The word of God declares that Abraham was fully persuaded that, what God had promised, He was able also to perform it. Although the promised Isaac did not come until after twenty-five years of waiting, Abraham overcame the temptation to stagger at the promise of God. He was strong in faith. He trusted the faithfulness of God who cannot lie but does whatever He promises.

Never allow impatience to steal away your confidence in the Lord. Although there may be delay, but after you have done the will of God, the promise will surely be fulfilled. God is not a man, that He should lie, neither the son of man, that He should repent: Has He said, and shall He not do it? or has He spoken, and shall He not make it good?

There is no promise that will be too hard for the Lord to fulfil in your life. Only believe, all things are possible to him that believes. Has the Lord promised you anything? Only believe, for there shall be a performance of everything that He has told you. Stagger not at the promise of God, for yet a little while, it will come to pass, and will not tarry. Hallelujah!

Prayer: O Lord, I believe that all your promises concerning me will surely come to pass, in Jesus name. Amen.

Reflection: Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me? - Jeremiah 32:27.
