Key Text: Mark 8:25 KJV - After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.
How do you see men? There will be no passion for evangelism until you are able to see men as men and not as trees. A second touch from the Lord is needed to enable you see men through the eyes of Christ. When Jesus saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion and He raised a prayer request for more labourers to be sent to the field of souls - Matthew 9:36.
Can't you see that multitudes around you are fainting, scattered abroad and in need of salvation? If already saved, you are expected to reach them with the gospel of the kingdom of God. However, until you can see men clearly, you cannot discharge your duty effectively. Like Isaiah, having heard the voice of the Lord, you should promptly answer "hear am I, send me".
Ask the Lord for another touch so that you can co-labour with Him to get souls saved. You need God's grace to reach the lost for Christ, by speaking to them and praying over them. Duty demands it, and Jesus commands it: Do something for others today.
Prayer: O God, give me compassion for souls. Touch me again, that I may begin to see men through the eyes of Christ, in Jesus name. Amen.
Reflection: And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking - Mark 8:24.
