God Can Do All Things

Jul 28 2017

Key Text: Job 42:2 KJV - I know that thou canst do everything, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.

God is omnipotent - He is all-powerful. With God all things are possible and without Him we cannot do anything. There is nothing too hard for Him to do - He saves sinners, heals the sick, delivers the oppressed, raises the dead and sets the captives free. Whatever maybe your situation, you can trust Him for the solution. Take your eyes away from men because they cannot help you.

As a child of God, you are not alone in that situation. The Omnipresent God says; I will never leave you, neither will I forsake you. And He says to all those that are labouring with Him in the field of souls; I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Therefore, learn to do all things as unto the Lord, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.

The Lord is Omniscient - He is all-knowing. You cannot hide anything from Him because even the very thoughts of your heart are naked before Him. Have you committed sin? It is foolishness trying to cover things up. He that covers his sin shall not prosper: but whoso confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy. God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Prayer: O Lord, Let the fear of the Lord rule my life and keep me from sin, in Jesus name. Amen.

Reflection: Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is any thing too hard for me? - Jeremiah 32:27.
