Key Text: Galatians 5:25 KJV - If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
You can tell whether someone is a Christian or not by their life and walk: a good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Genuine Christians live and walk in the Spirit. They walk circumspectly, not allowing the flesh to have dominion over them.
The temptation to fulfil the lust of the flesh can only be overcome by following the leading of the Holy Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. You may pretend to be a Christian but not for a long time because you shall be known by your fruits.
You are either a Christian or an unbeliever. If any aspect of the fruit of the Spirit is missing in your life or you find yourself manifesting any of the works of the flesh, it is a sign that you need to revisit Calvary. Only Jesus can save you and give you the power to go and sin no more.
Prayer: O Lord, help me to be a doer of your word and not just a hearer, in Jesus name. Amen.
Reflection: My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth - 1 John 3:18.
