Key Text: Matthew 7:23 KJV - And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Be sure that you are not hypocritical in your walk with God because the Lord will reject all religious pretenders in the end. Whereas we are not allowed to judge others, the Scripture commands us to judge ourselves. Judge not, that ye be not judged - Matthew 7:1. For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged - 1 Corinthians 11:31.
Do not wait until it is too late to discover that the Lord didn't know you after-all, despite your religious activities. Examine yourself daily in the mirror of God's word to see if you are still in the faith and repent where necessary.
You can choose to depart from iniquity now or wait till the last day when you will be forced to depart from the Lord. It is your responsibility to purge yourself, flee youthful lusts and follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. Be sure that He knows you now.
Prayer: O Lord, as I examine myself show me whatever I need to repent of, in Jesus name. Amen.
Reflection: ... The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity - 2 Timothy 2:19.
