There's Abundant Pardon

Apr 21 2017

Key Text: Hebrews 4:16 KJV - Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

At the throne of grace we enjoy a double portion: God's forgiving mercy and His pardoning grace. Whereas, His grace has appeared to all men for personal appropriation (receiving), God's mercy is there for the asking. The Lord is always there to answer anyone that will dare to call upon Him in the time of trouble. There's abundant pardon awaiting the penitent sinner.

The Lord Jesus is always touched by the feeling of our infirmities. He invites us to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find help in the time of need. Go to Jesus Christ today with that infirmity (sin, sickness, depression, oppression, affliction, etc) and He will give you rest as He has promised in His word - Matthew 11:28.

You are forgiven and pardoned at salvation but whenever you identify the need for mercy or grace, do not hesitate to visit the never drying fountain at the throne of God's grace, for cleansing. He has promised and will never fail to show mercy to every sincere seeker. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon - Isaiah 55:7.

Prayer: O Lord, have mercy upon me and let your all-sufficient grace work for me today, in Jesus name. Amen.

Reflection: Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever - Psalms 118:2
