DURING YOUR TIMES OF TRIAL

Nov 20 2025

Key Text: 1 Peter 4:12 KJV - Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

The Bible is replete with passages that talk about God's people going through trials for their faith. God allows fiery trials to prove the extent of your love for Him. Every believer at some point will experience fiery trial in one form or another. The good news is that trials will always come to pass - they are timed to last for a season and not designed to destroy the believer.

Recall the trial of Job, it was so devastating but in the end, God gave him double for his trouble. In your trying times always remember God's unfailing word. Your afflictions may be tough and many but the Lord promises to deliver you from them all. Sometimes you may feel alone and abandoned but the Lord promises to be with you in trouble. You are not alone in that unpleasant situation.

Job was tempted to curse God and die during his trial but he worshipped Him instead. You can also overcome by praising God in your trials. God is a caring Father and will always answer your prayers. But He loves you so much to give in to your complaints, for there is something awesome He wants to do in your life. He is proving you to approve you for the crown of glory.

Prayer: O Lord, I know that you are always with me. Teach me to trust and praise you, even in times of trials, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Reflection: ... and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no - Deuteronomy 8:2b.
