Key Text: Proverbs 14:32 KJV - The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death.

Many Christians are living like the people of the world without faith and without the hope of heaven. Only true believers will be raptured at the coming of the Lord. These are believers who constantly look or hope for the city whose builder and maker is God. Heaven is a place prepared by the LORD for only prepared people. Therefore nobody can make heaven without preparation.

One of two things; the Rapture or death will take you out of this world, sooner or later, to your eternal dwelling place. If you have the hope of ever seeing the Lord when your life on earth expires, you must examine your life daily in expectation of His sudden appearance. Strive to get yourself ready before you exit the stage of life.

The coming of the Lord is at hand. You must amend your ways to align with the word of God. You cannot continue to live without the hope of His coming. If He comes to meet you in your unprepared state you will surely miss heaven but cannot miss hell. Living without hope is tantamount to forgetting God: The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God - Psalm 9:17.

Prayer: O Lord help me to live everyday in constant expectation of your coming, in Jesus' name. Amen.
