DO SOMETHING FOR OTHERS

Apr 13 2025

Key Text: Galatians 6:10 KJV - As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

As the opportunity comes to help someone, use it without delay. See yourself as a conduit of the blessings of God. DO NOT hinder the flow. Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee - Proverbs 3:27-28. Do whatever you can to help that needy person now because a missed opportunity may never come again.

Do all the good you can today because you do not know what shall be tomorrow. How would you feel if you approached God for a need in prayer and got an instant response? Let those who come to you for help enjoy the same experience, when possible. The way you give determines how you will receive from God and others. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

It is more blessed to give than to receive. There may never be another opportunity to bless the person you fail to bless today: tomorrow may be too late. Brethren, let us strive to do something for others today. Duty demands it, and Jesus commands it, therefore let us endeavour to do something for others every day.

Prayer: Lord, help me to understand that I am only a custodian of all that I have received from you. Use me to meet the needs of others, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Reflection: ...and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this? - Esther 4:14c.
