THE JUST SHALL BE REWARDED

Mar 22 2025

Key Text: Mark 10:28 KJV - Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.

Are you concerned like Peter, about what you will gain having left all to follow Jesus? For your information, your labour is not in vain in the Lord. The Lord has promised to reward you now, with a hundredfold of whatever you have given up serving Him, and to give you eternal life in the world to come. All you need to inherit these promised blessings is to remain faithful and committed as you serve the Lord Jesus Christ.

Heaven rejoices over you if you have been saved. However, it is only those that will endure till the end, in the face of temptations, trials and persecutions that shall make it to heaven. Let not your heart be troubled, Jesus has gone to prepare a place for you in heaven. Nevertheless, when the Son of man comes, shall he find you faithful to inherit the mansion prepared for you?

Be strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded - 2 Chronicles 15:7. Heaven will not accommodate unstable disciples. Only true disciples will enter there: It is those that will continue in His word despite the vicissitudes of life. Stop joking with your Christian life because you are in the last days and nearer your salvation than when you first believed.

Prayer: Father, I know that it pays to serve you, therefore help me to remain steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Reflection: If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable - 1 Corinthians 15:19.
