Key Text: Esther 4:14c KJV - ... and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?
Unknown to Esther, God planted her in the King's palace for the deliverance of the Jews. And when the time came to play her role, the Lord used her Uncle, Mordecai to sound the alarm. The moment she realised her mission, Esther was determined to fulfil her ministry. She was not afraid to die, so she could boldly declare: if I perish, I perish. You are not there by accident, but to fulfil destiny.
As the opportunity comes to help someone, seize it without delay. Always see yourself as a conduit for the distribution of the blessings of God. DO NOT hinder the flow of His goodness through you: Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee - Proverbs 3:27-28.
Do all the good you can today because you do not know what shall be tomorrow. How would you feel if you approached God for a need in prayer and got an instant response? Let those who approach you for help enjoy the same experience. The way you give determines how you will receive from God and others. Therefore, do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
Prayer: Father, I pray that nobody will take my place in life. Help me to fulfil my ministry, in Jesus' name. Amen.
Reflection: And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it - Colossians 4:17.
