STOP COVERING YOUR SINS

Nov 12 2024

Key Text: 1 Timothy 5:24 KJV - Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after.

Every confessed sin is judged and covered by the Lord so that the devil finds nothing to accuse you of before God. Unfortunately many believers because of ignorance try in vain to cover their sins. It is better to expose your sins on earth before death, otherwise they will follow you to accuse you before God after you have passed on to the other side of eternity where no defendant will ever be acquitted.

Are you ashamed of doing your restitution because of what men will say? What shall it profit you, if you shall gain the respect of men or maintain your self esteem in this world and lose your soul in eternity? It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Repent now, confess your sins and do all necessary restitutions to avoid standing in judgment before God after death.

There is no repentance after death. The Lord is willing to judge and cover your sins now if you are ready to expose them through confession and restitution. It is not the will of God that any man should perish but that all should come to repentance. Stop covering your sins: let the Lord do it for you that you may escape eternal damnation in the lake of fire that burns with brimestone.

Prayer: O Lord, Let me always confess and forsake my sins promptly, and not try to cover them, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Reflection: Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered - Psalm 32:1.
