Key Text: Ephesians 4:27 KJV - Neither give place to the devil. 

Beloved, do not give place to the devil to reign over you. It is what you allow that will eventually have dominion over you. The devil will always come to you with evil suggestions, but he cannot invade your life until you let him in. Eve was deceived and overcome because she engaged the devil in a conversation instead of resisting him. Be watchful and prayerful so you won't be deceived.  

Jesus was also tempted by the devil to sin against God, but the Lord overcame him by the spoken word. The devil like a roaring lion walks about seeking whom he may devour - be vigilant and give no place to him. His temptations are always around the needs in your life. But what shall it profit you if you shall have your needs met and lose your own soul.  

The devil might suggest that you steal to satisfy your hunger, but you must remember that man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Surrender your life to the Lord Jesus and receive the power to resist the devil that he may flee whenever he comes with his evil suggestions. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Prayer: O Lord, help me to resist every attempt of the devil to invade my life, in Jesus' name. Amen.
