GO FROM GRIEF TO GLORY

Feb 13 2024

Key Text: 1 Samuel 1:20 KJV - Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD.

Hannah was a sorrowful woman for a long time and she complained about her unpleasant situation of barrenness. She was provoked by her adversary to make her worry and weep over her condition. Until she prevailed in the place of in prayer, she remained a sorrowful woman. When she prayed earnestly, the Lord changed her complaint to acclaim. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

Like Hannah, if you will stop worrying and complaining about your problems and start praying, the Lord will change your story from grief to glory, in Jesus name. He is a faithful God. He changed the story of Joseph from disappointment to appointment. He changed the story of Hannah from barrenness to fruitfulness. He changed the story of Lazarus from death to life. He is about to change yours today.

Your neighbours shall hear acclamation from you as the Lord changes your story. The Lord promises to take you from failure to success, from poverty to prosperity, and from shame to double glory of fame, if you will pray. However, you can only claim God's promises when you have genuinely surrendered your life to Jesus Christ in true repentance.

Prayer: O Lord, I overcome every adversary that has vowed to keep me worrying over my situations, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Reflection: He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds - Psalm 147:3.
