Key Text: Luke 10:42 KJV - But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away.
 
There are many things calling for your attention in life but only one thing really matters the most. The most important thing is securing the assurance of spending your eternity with God. After your education, what next? After getting married and raising a family, what next? After rising to the peak of your career, what next? Eventually death will come if Jesus delays His coming, but where will you spend eternity?
 
Labour not for that which perishes. And seekest thou great things for thyself? seek them not: but seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things (educational qualifications, fame, property, wealth, etc.) shall be added unto you. Remember that when your life on earth is ended, you cannot carry any of your possessions out of this world.
 
Do not allow yourself to be brought under the power of things. All things maybe lawful unto you, but all things are not expedient. What shall it profit you if you shall gain the whole world and lose your own soul? Or what shall you give in exchange for your soul? If you choose to seek the Lord with all your heart, He will be found of you.Come to Jesus now, because there is no repentance in the grave.

Prayer: O Lord, deliver me from every distraction that I might focus on you alone, in Jesus name. Amen.
