The God Of Judgment

Jan 25 2017

Key Text: Hebrews 10:31 KJV - It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

The same God that judged the antediluvian world and the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah for their wickedness has warned of His impending judgment against this present evil world. He will be partial and unrighteous if He fails to judge the wickedness and rebellion of this generation. The God of judgment has not changed and except we repent, we cannot escape His judgment. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

No one can challenge His judgment because He is the Almighty God. His sentence is final and when convicted there will be no lawyer to plead for you: the soul that sinneth, it shall die. His is the Supreme Court and the final court of appeal for all cases that border on the eternal destiny of the soul.

Thank God for the plan of redemption. Jesus has already been judged at Calvary for your sake. If you have not yet been redeemed, quickly take advantage of the free offer of salvation now, that you may escape standing trial before the Living God. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God but you can repent now, and be clothed with the righteousness of Christ.

Prayer: O Lord, when I shall see you, let it be for reward and not for judgment, in Jesus name. Amen.

Reflection: Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel - Amos 4:12.
