THE TWO ETERNAL REALITIES

Aug 24 2023

Key Text: "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare …" John 14:2 KJV

Heaven is big enough to accommodate everyone if the whole world decides to go there. On the other hand, hell has enlarged itself and opens its mouth without measure to house everybody who chooses to make it their eternal home. The will of God is for all to spend eternity in heaven with Him. However, the choice is yours to decide where you want to spend eternity.

Hell is a place of everlasting torment. The rich man mentioned in Luke Chapter 16, is still in hell and will remain there forever. There is a great gulf fixed between heaven and hell so that nobody can pass from hell to heaven. Nobody will be allowed to leave heaven for hell to help their suffering loved ones. But you can help them now by tell-ing them about the reality of heaven and hell before they die.

According to God's infallible Word, it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. While you are still alive, you can amend your ways. There is no repentance in the grave. Precious peo-ple, God is plenteous in mercy but there is no mercy for the inhabitants of hell. Therefore, choose where you want to spend eternity. Accept Jesus, as Lord and Saviour to escape eternity in hell fire.

Prayer: Father, I have chosen to spend eternity in heaven: help me to continue in the narrow way till the end of my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Reflection: For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begot-ten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life - John 3:16.
