ONLY JESUS CAN SAVE

Aug 12 2022

Key Text: Job 14:4 KJV - Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one.

Because of the sin of Adam, every man born into the world has inherited sin, apart from Jesus - the seed of the woman. And no one can cleanse himself from sin or help another man. Only Jesus can transform a sinner into a saint by cleansing them with His precious blood which was shed at Calvary for the remission of sins. Jesus stands at the door of your heart, knocking, that you may let Him in.

The righteousness of man at best can be likened to filthy rags. No unclean thing can enter the kingdom of heaven. Struggling to keep the law of God will not save anyone, only Jesus saves. And except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter the kingdom of heaven: outward righteousness alone will not do.

Beloved, the price for your cleansing was fully paid when Jesus died on the cross of Calvary. His shed blood cleanses from all sin and transforms a sinner into a saint. Only believe in Jesus, and receive the power to walk in the Spirit and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin.

Prayer: Almighty Father, I thank you for the gift of salvation. Help me to abide in Christ, in Jesus name. Amen.

Reflection: Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved - Acts 4:12.
