THE LORD KNOWS HIS OWN

Nov 21 2021

Key Text: Matthew 7:23 KJV - And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Be sure that you are not hypocritical in your walk with God because all religious pretenders and ministers of Satan will eventually be exposed and rejected by the Lord. On the last day, the Lord shall bring all your deceitful works into judgment. False prophets may succeed in seducing their gullible congregation with signs and lying wonders, but they shall surely reap what they have sown.

Do not wait until it is too late to discover that the Lord didn't know you, despite all your religious activities. Examine yourself daily in the mirror of God's word to see if you are still in the faith. Prompt repentance is the only means by which one can escape the judgment of God: "For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged." - 1 Corinthians 11:31.

You can choose to depart from iniquity now or wait till the last day when you will be forced to depart from the Lord. It is your responsibility to purge yourself, flee youthful lusts and follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart - 2 Timothy 2:22. Make sure that you are not serving another Jesus, and that the Lord knows you.

Prayer: O Lord, as I examine myself show me whatever I need to repent of, in Jesus name. Amen.

Reflection: ... The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity - 2 Timothy 2:19.
