Many believed in Berea because they searched the Scriptures daily to confirm what they heard from gospel preachers. Understanding the Scriptures brings about salvation, growth and establishment in the faith. It is the Word of God in the heart that makes solid, stable and consistent believers. The knowledge of God's word brings freedom from deception.

Beloved, attend to His words by listening to messages, searching the Scriptures and meditating on the Word to keep them in the midst of your heart for they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Daily meditation on God's Word promises to make your way prosperous with good success.

The Word of God teaches, corrects, reproves and instructs in the way of righteousness to save the sinner, restore the backslider and make the believer perfect. Desire it that you may grow thereby. Study it to show yourself approved unto God. Hide it in your heart that you might not sin against God. Searching the Scriptures is always time well spent.

Prayer: O Lord, stir me up in the Spirit that I may search the Scriptures daily, in Jesus name. Amen.
