Key Text: Daniel 3:17 KJV - If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.

The knowledge of the truth gives boldness in the face of oppression and intimidation. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were not afraid of the threat of being cast into the burning fiery furnace, because they knew that God could deliver them. It was the knowledge of God's word that strengthened them at the hour of temptation: for He has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you.

The people that know the Lord and His Word shall be strong and do exploits: for they shall know the truth, and the truth shall make them free. Study to know what the word of God says concerning you. The heavens and the earth may pass away but God's infallible word will never fail. None of His word will fall to the ground empty without accomplishing the purpose for which they are sent.

The Lord did not stop these three Hebrew children from being thrown into the fire but He delivered them in the end. At another time, He allowed Daniel to be cast into the lions den before rescuing him unhurt. Your circumstances cannot change God's word. He will surely deliver those that put their trust in Him because they have known Him. Do you know Jesus as Lord as personal Saviour? If your answer is yes: you can rest assured you've got the power that's in the name of Jesus!
